How to measure
Stand relaxed. Use a soft measuring tape. Keep it snug, not tight.

Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and under your arms.

Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, typically an inch above the belly button.

Hip
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, about 8 inches below the waist.

Inseam
Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to the bottom of your ankle.

Shoulder
Measure across your back from shoulder bone to shoulder bone.

Leather softens and conforms to the foot over time. If between sizes, we recommend sizing down.

Gently widen or tighten the open band to fit. Do not reshape sharply.
A Note On Fit
On our silhouettes
Traditional West African garments are cut to drape, not to fit close. This is by design — the kaftan and agbada reward ease of movement, not restriction.
Our kaftans are cut for a boxy, relaxed fit. Agbadas are generous by convention. When in doubt, order your normal size. We offer complimentary alterations on commissioned pieces.
